Estimated annual cost of poor communication for a 500-person organisation.
US survey estimate · Grammarly + Harris Poll ↗Strategy loses meaning
as it travels.
Mirad helps leaders close the gap between what they intend, what their organisation does, and what people ultimately understand and believe.
Inside organisations and outside in the market, Mirad shapes leadership and internal communication, brand and marketing communication—and implements both through strategic content, film and production.
The message is often not the problem. The gap behind it is.
What appears to be a messaging problem can be a strategic and leadership problem made visible. Intent becomes assumed. Priorities multiply. Teams carry different versions of the same direction.
The result is expensive confusion that polished communication cannot resolve on its own.
Meaning breaks.
Money follows.
The loss rarely appears on a line called “communication”. It shows up as rework, duplicated campaigns, slow decisions, underused tools, missed deals and strategy that never becomes action.
Estimated productive time lost per employee, every week, through ineffective communication.
Grammarly + Harris Poll ↗Business leaders said poor communication had already cost them business.
2024 State of Business Communication ↗Of the average marketing technology stack is being used—capability paid for, but not translated into value.
Gartner Marketing Technology Survey ↗The translation gap is not cosmetic. It compounds across internal communication, marketing efficiency, customer experience and growth.
You may recognise this.
01Senior leaders describe the same strategy differently.
02Teams stay busy, but their decisions do not point in the same direction.
03Transformation communication is frequent, yet employees experience contradiction.
04Valuable expertise or technology is flattened into language that sounds like everyone else.
05Campaigns look polished but do not feel connected to organisational reality.
Where does meaning break?
Select a stage to see what can change as strategy moves through an organisation.
Leadership intent
The real why, ambition, constraints and choices remain implicit. Everyone downstream is left to interpret them.
What does leadership actually mean, and what is it willing to choose?
Most organisations do not have a capability problem. They have a translation problem.
WHEN STRATEGY IS DILUTED, TRUST IS DILUTED WITH IT.Where the gap
becomes expensive.
Mirad works with organisations whose capability is real, but whose meaning is being lost between leadership, teams and the people they need to reach.
Executive education & leadership institutions
Substantial programmes are reduced to generic course language, weakening distinction, engagement and belief.
Law, finance & professional services
Real expertise becomes cautious, interchangeable language, especially during AI adoption, leadership change or expansion.
Technology & AI companies
A technically strong product is difficult to understand, trust or buy because the explanation has not caught up with the capability.
Corporate transformation teams
Leadership communicates frequently, but teams receive inconsistent meaning and live a different story.
Funded founders & scale-ups
The company has outgrown the founder's original explanation. Investors, hires and enterprise buyers now need a coherent account.
Leaders at a visible transition
Experience and judgement have not yet become a public voice that feels precise, credible and recognisably their own.
Meaning needs
a structure that holds.
Strategic Emotional Resonance is Mirad's method for finding where meaning is lost and rebuilding the conditions for credibility and trust. It brings strategic diagnosis, leadership judgement, emotional intelligence and execution into one system.
See what is real.
Identify the real direction, the belief that matters, and the gap that must change.
Make it coherent.
Give leaders and teams a structure they can understand, decide from and carry.
Make it human.
Fit the direction to real people and contexts without distorting its meaning.
Make it lived.
Carry the direction into decisions, behaviour, communication and execution.
Diagnose → Align → Translate → Implement
Leaders can articulate the same direction. Teams can make aligned choices. Communication reflects organisational reality. Execution carries the strategy.
Clear strategy.
Carried all the way through.
Mirad works across external brand and marketing communication, internal and leadership communication, and the strategic content, film and video needed to carry that direction into the world.
Brand & marketing communication
Brand positioning, narrative strategy, messaging, campaigns, thought leadership and audience communication—so the market can understand why the organisation matters.
Leadership & organisational communication
Leadership, executive, employee and transformation communication—so people inside the organisation can understand the direction, make aligned choices and act on it.
Strategic content & production
Mirad leads interviews, photography, film and video end to end, scaling with trusted freelance specialists when the brief calls for a wider crew—so the strategy does not lose meaning in execution.
Marketing is one place the work lands. The real work is making strategy understood, trusted and actionable wherever it travels.
Four ways
to begin.
Start with the smallest engagement capable of moving the work forward. Multi-stakeholder, organisation-wide and production engagements are scoped according to complexity.
Signal Session
For one defined question, one lead stakeholder and a focused set of background materials.
A 90-minute diagnostic conversation, an initial written Signal Report within 48 hours and a clarification call.
Leadership Workshop
When the direction exists, but leaders are carrying different interpretations.
A focused half or full day to align leadership intent, priorities and the decisions the organisation must carry forward.
Narrative Strategy
When the capability is real, but the organisation cannot yet explain it coherently.
Document review, up to five interviews, strategic and narrative architecture, a message framework and playback.
Strategy-led Production
When the direction is clear and needs to become something people can see, hear and use.
Interviews, photography, film and video led end to end by Mirad, with trusted specialists brought in when the brief calls for a wider crew.
The first strategic work
is the diagnosis.
A Signal Session is a focused, paid diagnostic—not a disguised sales call. It is designed for one defined issue, one lead stakeholder and a focused set of materials.
Request a Signal SessionA short intake questionnaire and an agreed set of context materials.
A 90-minute diagnostic conversation.
An initial Signal Report within 48 hours, identifying the most consequential gap, the question beneath it and a recommended direction forward.
A clarification call to discuss the findings.
£1,200 + VAT, paid in advance. Introductory conversations establish fit and scope only; strategic diagnosis begins once the engagement is confirmed. Multi-stakeholder and organisation-wide diagnostics are scoped separately. If further work is commissioned, the Signal Report becomes the foundation for the next phase.
When the story
has a job to do.
Different briefs, the same discipline: understand the audience, find the real story, then make it travel.

A second attempt.A stronger story.
After an earlier crowdfunding attempt fell short, Mihaela reworked the campaign's creative strategy around the founders' purpose and audience. She developed the script and film, using founder interviews and the brand's “why” to build a more credible investor story.

Making expertise engaging.
Across four years and hundreds of assignments spanning social content, events, Congregation, executive and organisational messaging, Executive Education and fundraising, Mihaela helped LBS make expertise and institutional life human. The deeper case study includes work with former and current deans, rapid creative decisions made on location and eleven named public programme examples—one strand within a much larger body of work.

Building production from the inside.
For more than three years, Mihaela built and led eharmony's in-house content production from the ground up for its UK, Australian, US and German markets. She developed content strategies and directed, filmed and edited work across social, paid and campaign channels, creating an in-house capability that replaced external agency production.
“Communication is not the polish applied after strategy. It is how strategy becomes shared judgement, aligned action and trusted experience.”
That is why Mirad begins with organisational reality, not a content brief—and why the thinking stays intact from diagnosis through to execution.
Mihaela
Motica.
Mihaela Motica is a strategic communication advisor, founder and former filmmaker whose work connects strategy, storytelling, culture and human behaviour.
Her work began behind the camera, where she learnt to notice the distance between what someone intends and what another person actually sees, feels and believes. Over more than a decade across film, production, storytelling and communication, that attention became a strategic practice: diagnosing where meaning breaks, then creating the structure that helps it hold.
A two-time founder, she established the limited company behind Mirad in 2022; Mirad Studios became its public-facing brand later. She is also building AMONGKIND. Running and building businesses herself gives her a practical understanding of the choices, uncertainty and human dynamics behind a company's message.
Her creative work has moved between institutions, international brands and founder-led businesses. Having lived in four countries and worked in South Korea as an international content producer, she pays attention to how meaning shifts across cultures. Today she brings her creative, strategic and founder perspectives together to help organisations make genuine capability understandable and credible.
Her conviction is simple: trust grows when the organisation's choices, behaviour and communication give people a reason to believe.
